  • 25 grams of butter
  • 8 slices of smoked beef

Instructions

  1. Cut the red onions into wedges and place them in a saucepan with a little water, a drizzle of olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Cook over very low heat for 10 minutes until tender. Then add the apple cider vinegar, mustard, and sugar, and cook for another 45 minutes on low heat until caramelized.
  3. Butter each slice of bread on one side.

  5. In a skillet over low heat, cook the sandwiches for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
